  1. I'll be the first to post, I guess. Check out my Utah restaurant review blog at eating-utah.blogspot.com. I keep tweaking the design and things. Check it out and give me any suggestions you might have.

  2. I think my project is going well. I actually like posting on it - which is a good thing. It's about me being pregnant and the address is babymakingbybecky.blogspot.com.

  3. I'm enjoying my project a lot. I've had a personal, journal-like blog for a couple of years now, but I've never really liked posting on it, and, I'll be honest, I only have 2 followers. I think having a focused audience is extremely helpful in making blogging enjoyable. I look forward to posting and to what people have to say, and I already have 20 followers (thanks in large part to the class members). My blog is mygrowingself.blogspot.com, and, like Becky's, is about pregnancy.

  4. This is my first time ever blogging and so far it has been a lot of fun. Honestly been the most fun I've had on a homework assignment in a LONG time. I have 23 followers and have had some comments. Any feedback or ideas from classmates would be appreciated! (I'll be doing the same for classmates this week) My blog is: functionandfashion-aubrey.blogspot.com

  5. My project is going fairly well. I am trying to get people to post comments on it, but to this point I have not had much success. I have tried some social media and the hits go up when I post it on FB or something, but the hits on the blog are still pretty low. It has been fun though to try to get people to get interested in it and follow me.

  6. Mine is coming along. I still feel weird about posting my thoughts online for people to read. I am self conscious about what I am saying but other than that it is going well!

  7. This is my first time blogging, so I have many questions which I will be asking you all today in class. Other than struggling on a few "how to" items I am enjoying the process of creativity. My blog is about college cooking, check it out at http://shoestringcollegecooking.blogspot.com/

  8. "Sensual" post

It's the end of another day and, again, my well of inspiration is dry. I gently leaf through my sketchbook, hoping for some inspiration to come from my past doodlings and musings. The scent of pencil shavings and bonded paper waft slowly towards my nose and, for an instant, I am free. I finally find what I am looking for, just the briefest snatch of an idea.

I set down my sketchbook and pick up my tablet. It's time to go to work.

  9. CLASS ASSIGNMENT: SENSUAL WRITING

The chocolate melts in my hand like the glistening glacier topping the Colorado Rockies on a warm June morning: glistening, slipping, sweating tiny beads of chocolate over my rough, calloused hands. This delicate bar of rough mounted chocolate weeps its substantive outer layer as if to say, "Shall I perish today and just melt away." To her, I reply, "Nay, it is not so. 'Tis not in vain the crisp, crackle, and tear of your silver evening gown as I disrobed thee and laid thee in my palm. Today you shall fulfill the meaning of your existence." She lies naked in my hand, exposed to the warmth of every rise and crevice in my aging hands. Baby Ruth seems not to understand, but I comfort her. I raise her slowly to my lips; in a sweet, tender motion, I begin to prey upon her. Rolling her around in my mouth and over my tongue. The rich, smooth chocolate envelopes my sensory palate as I indulge in her silky delicious ways: smooth and rough. It's nuts how firm and tough she can be; it's pleasurable how soft and giving her nougat can be. This is truly Baby Ruth at her greatest.

  11. I was hoping that I would be excited about posting new songs and things, but I seem to be more worried about followers for the purposes of the class rather than just doing it for my passion of the subject. I want to be able to fix that. The first thing that I'll do is stop worrying about the numbers and just hope that at least one person will benefit from it. Then, I'd hope that, with a bit of advertising on my Facebook page, the followers will take care of themselves.
